sulzerstuart
HelloPeople, Can you please help? I have a Bachmann Dynamis system and have just bought a Hornby TTS 40. I am trying to reprogramme the tts decoder with a long address '4064' but no matter how I try I don't seem to be able to change the decoders address... I'm going mad! Thanks Stu
Nigelcliffe
First port of call with any TTS decoder problem is the supplying dealer (if its new, straight back to them - they have to fix it or fully refund you, including all posting costs, that's the UK consumer law) or Hornby themselves. There have been numerous problems reported with TTS decoders, and Hornby have an update which they can apply to the decoders. There's no way of clearly knowing whether your new loco has the problematic version of the decoder, or the fixed version - depends how long its been in a box waiting for a buyer ! sulzerstuart
Thanks folks for helping there. I have nothing but praise for Hornby in their help. Seems the tts chip is likely old and needs updating. Thanks!
