The subject of the Airfix / Dapol Booth (Rodley) diesel hydraulic permanent way crane has recently been raised once again in another thread.

At the request of a list member I recently produced a new sheet of transfers for this model :-

(The above image is of necessity low res. - suffice to say that most of the tiny lettering is legible)!

The prototype is depicted at :-

As you will see, the sheet covers both the 10T and 15T versions of this crane, the principle visible difference being the thick ballst weights attached to the carriage bufferbeams of the 15T version.

I hope that this new release will be of use to list members - details can be found under Sheet BL92 at :-

Whilst on the subject of cranes, some newer list members may not be aware that I can also supply transfers (Sheet BL36) for the Hornby Cowans Sheldon hand crane, the prototype of which is depicted at :-

and the Cambrian GWR hand crane (Sheet S2) as depicted at :-

For those that are interested in Railway cranes, this book (out in January) might be interesting.

(I do not have any connections to this book and do not know its quality.)

Thanks for the heads up. Nearly 20 years in preparation, I think Peter Tatlow will have made a good job of this!
