thanks for looking,

Thinking about uncoupling magnets for Kaydees, i am thinking of using neodymium Magnets as I have some 6mm ones lying around, any Ideas or advice about the placing of them?

Thanks again Phil

Hi folks, a little advice if you don't mind? I am track laying and I have a short piece of track between the frog end of two points, say less than 2" long, using Electrofrog and Frog Juicers how do I wire this short piece? Do I fully isolate and wire it to the Bus or just isolate the frog ends and wire to the bus? thanks Phil

All track laying nearly finished so I thought it time for an update,

So here is the layout looking from the Fiddle Yard

and one of the Fiddle yard and headshunt

now what to do with the space between the platform line and the run round?

1.Disused trackbed - it could have been a former run-round loop / loco release road but track layout has been rationalised.

2. Base of a former signal box (or similar) or leave a rather rundown signal box there, with a motley collection of lamp huts etc for company.

Just a thought.

I have had similar thoughts, about the Signal box, not sure about the trackbed because there is a Runround loop present, now would the `box be facing the yard or the platform?

Hi all, long time no updates, a few small things going on at the moment have kept me away from the layout as well as the good weather!!

near the head shunt at the Fiddle Yard end of the layout I have been developing a Barrel yard

and the Ballast loader has arrived in the PW yard along with a Signal in the station

Yes they are coal wagons in the yard, I just bought a few Hornby Railroad HAA hoppers and am loading them hopefully to run at Warrington Show (Not on Deacon Nook)
