Londontram
Thought you might like to see a few photo's of something I built a few years ago. Built on the Hornby 0-4-0 chassis is a very loose copy of one of the Stanton iron works crane tanks one of which is preserved at the Midland railway centre. I would look good on a small industrial lay out
firefly9
Excellent little model. The only thing i'll say and I've said it to everyone who has used the Hornby chassis is slidebars.

Londontram
Looks nice, certainly a different sort of loco Thanks Andy one day I'll get round to finishing it (needs more work on the cranes valve gear and operating rods etc.) Here is a photo of the real one on display at the midland railway center at Butterly in Derbyshire. Many years ago I had the chance to ride on the footplate when it was still running and see the crane in operation.
