cornish trains jez
Hi everyone, Just going through some old photos and came across these of an old swiss N layout which I was building quite a number of years ago so thought I would post them for interest. The layout was about 2m long and was never quite finished. It just required a few more scenic bits to be done around the many Kibri and Faller buildings that I had built for it. All the rock faces had been built up with polystyrene blocks, cut and shaped to form the rock and then coated in a thin layer of polyfiller and painted with various colours in different stages to get the right effect. Unfortunately all the stock was sold to make way for my Cornish layout and the layout itself is sitting in my garage.....probably coated in dust now although I had modified the track layout towards the end a little to create a small depot as I had accumulated a large number of locos at the time. Well here are some photos of how it ll looked. Maybe I'll dig it out one day and finish it. Best regards, Jeremy
RMweb Premium njee20 Posted September 6, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 6, 2014 Looks good, would love a decent Swiss layout with a few rakes of the IC2000 coaches and lots of 460s!
