RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted October 27, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 27, 2014 Warley Show & Wakefield Show 2015 Date Changes Warley MRC and Wakefield RMS are working together to Organise 2015 shows for both clubs in the wake of NEC date changes. Warley MRC and Wakefield RMS would like to announce their new 2015 show dates in the wake of new NEC dates forced on the Warley Show for 2015. Although the Warley show has only moved by one week this would have coincided with the Wakefield Show and thus damaged their attendance, something Warley MRC is not willing to accept. After working closely together the two clubs have agreed on the following dates for the next two years with NEC contracts for the following year on their way. 2015 WRMS - Wakefield Show Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd November 2015 Warley MRC - National Model Railway Exhibition Sat and Sunday 28th & 29th Nov. 2015 2016 WRMS - Wakefield Show Friday 17th to Sunday 19th November 2016 Warley MRC - National Model Railway Exhibition Sat and Sunday 25th & 26th Nov 2016 2014 - Dates for this years shows remain the same WARLEY NATIONAL MODEL RAILWAY EXHIBITION 22ND & 23RD NOVEMBER 2014 NEC BIRMINGHAM WRMS – WAKEFIELD SHOW 28TH to 30TH Nov 2014 THORNES PARK STADIUM, WAKEFIELD Everyone involved has done their utmost, through close collaboration, to lessen the effects of NEC date changes and both clubs look forward to seeing their visitors enjoying the shows as usual. PLD Posted October 27, 2014 Share Posted October 27, 2014 To be honest Jamie, for me and a good many other modellers, if there were to be a clash it would be West Yorkshire not West Midlands every time both as exhibitor and visitor. Unfortunately there are a significant number of the general puplic get caught up in the hype surounding Warley but bigger certainly isn't always better... Yes the dates are correct for Wakefield 18/19/20 th November. I look forward to welcoming you once more to the show. We were down last year on numbers and although it may have been a combination of weather and change of date we are keen to attract visitors to what we believe is a top northern show.
