JaymzHatstand
I've seen a couple of photos of this vehicle at Grosmont on the NYMR in the 70s, but can't find any other information on it's current whereabouts. The Vintage Carriages Trust lists it as being under restoration during 2011, but does anyone have any more up to date information/photos of the vehicle? davefrk
There was a D&S kit for one sold on Ebay last week with more D&S stuff on this week too. Dave Franks.
JaymzHatstand
Thanks for that, I found a 2013 NYMR stock list and it wasn't on there, so I'd presumed it had departed for pastures new. I was hopeful and pretty certain that such an old vehicle wouldn't have been disposed of. I've been looking into the D&S kit, but missed out on the eBay one, I've got my eyes open though! A couple of scale drawings and I might have a go at scratchbuilding! Cheers J
Boris
Its been gone from the NYMR for many years, it wasn't totally knackered when it left so as long as it hasn't been left it shouldn't have been a massive restoration job.
DLPG
Sure on of the lads over at Tanfield can post some pics. I can't remember observing it on my visits but it could be in many of the sheds under restoration out of public view
