      Thanks again for all the interest and good wishes. We plan to have a kind of "semi-detached" marriage whereby we shall spend time in each home together and separately. I have various activities in Torquay which I'm keen to continue (eg amateur theatre) and Ian has horses and cats, not forgetting Le Mans 25 miles down the road!

      Thanks, everyone! Second time around for both of us too.

      Horsetan: no horses as we're being married in Cockington Manor House where the Torbay Register Office is housed. It's one of our favourite local places and Ian is very pleased that there is a Lutyens designed pub within walking distance ("The Drum") where we shall have the reception.

      That's true as he has made a huge effort with cleaning and tidying the railway barn, where, at the start, the cobwebs resembled Sleeping Beauty's castle!

      islandbridgejct: Ian always refers to weddings as weldings! We shan't live in the same country all the time so that should help to keep the flame alive!!

    13hrs at work, get home to find roads shut, police helicopter above.. Aparently someone has been shot with a crossbow. Locking the doors and hiding in the loft!!!

      I've owned a Yamaha Clavinova CLP-155 since 1995 and it's been brilliant. Despite losing a foot in our recent move (ouch!) it continues to work well (or as well as my playing allows!)
