  1. Really nice work Andrew. Your work is inspiring. I have been working on a small layout (my first layout) for months now and it is nowhere near complete. I am amazed by the speed at which you produce such a high standard of work.
  2. How about some 'heavy industrial' buildings such as steelworks?
  3. I have a Hornby Pug and it runs quite well although it could benefit from lower gearing in my opinion. It is sensitive to dirty track and wheels and does not like insulfrog points. Only having a small end-to-end layout I cannot really comment on its ability to haul a load but overall I am happy with it. I am thinking about adding some extra weight to it but have not done so as yet.
  4. Am working on the 'less and rotated' track plan. I think you guys are right and it was a little too much as was.
  5. Hi. The layout will be DC using a Morley controller. Points will be switched using the GEM Mercontrol mechanical system with either slide or microswitches to switch point polarity.
  6. Thanks Barry I will try that. Cheers Jon
  7. Took a long time but I have finalised the layout design. Due to space restrictions the layout will be a 5 foot by 3 foot N-Gauge layout.
