Afternoon All,
Skipping again has happened - went to the antique fair at Ludlow racecourse - saw lots of acquaintances, and bought nothing - but it is a two day event and we've seen a few things that are possibles, so will visit tomorrow - if they're still there, it's meant to be.
Then went out for our 1.47 appointments for an injection in each arm - I got the covid one in my left and flu in the right - so I will know tonight which is which when they hurt. It as really manic there - car park at the surgery was heaving what with tourists and the continuous influx of patients going four at a time at two minute intervals for their jabs. We had to park on a double yellow on the road leading into the car park and just by the entrance to the surgery - inside we split into two queues, gave our name and appointment time (we got there about forty minutes early - no problem, just go through. There were TEN nurses and HCAs administering the injections - we saw my DSN, with jackets off and sleeves rolled up, she welcomed us by name, did the business, then out the back door. Total time elapsed less than four minutes - then back home - in fact total time from out of house to in was uder quarter of an hour. Well done to all concerned - slick operation - but I remember when I had my first covid they made us wait - injection in a private room, then a 20 minute timed sit - with late running and a lack of staff, a good 40 minutes.
Regards to All
Stewart
