  1. Well, the Jetta failed the MOT didn't it.... Front spring broken right at the end, didn't see it and didn't feel it but I know when it happened, Blxxdy pot holes in Glasgow a few weeks ago. Jetta has passed everything else though including the emissions.

      Its those short German springs, too few turns. Fine for the Autobahn not too clever for UK. My Vectra snapped both front springs, ripped the sides out of the tyres. None of my Rovers or MGs ever had a spring changed in over 250 000 miles.

      Touch wood never had issues with the air struts on the big boy as they're over £1k each..glides on a magic carpet and then stiffens and lowers magically when you stuffs yer right boot into the carpet.

      Computerised wizardry and black magic..and British.. none of yer German nonsense.
