Wayne, can I ask if you are doing these in batches? I.e. will the OO B7s be available "permanently" or might there be a lengthy gap between batches where they may sell out? (I ask because ideally I need to get a little further with planning before ordering.)
PS: Just a heads-up, the links to download the A4 templates for the OO B7 don't work.
I manufacture a set number of kits per working day (Mon-Fri). The items will be available ongoing and not in ‘batches’.
Despatch times are usually 1 -2 working days from order, but maybe longer on a newly released kit with highly anticipated demand.
P.S - Sorry, still working on the A4 templates (very busy..LOL)- 1

Any ideas on the timescale for A5 and B6 turnouts becoming available? I'll need several of each for St Aldhelm. And if you're considering a double slip...that will be another order from me!
Hi Mike,
It's always tough to estimate timescales when you're a one man band. After the B7 is released in all 3 gauges, I plan on working on a matching 1in7 diamond, single and double slips.
Let's say around August to get all of the above kits released, including 00-SF versions.
I would then work on a smaller A5 after that.
In between I also need to work on the 3mm version for the 3mm society...

Hi Guys,
I've now released the 00 Gauge B7 kit on my website. This uses the 'DOGA Intermediate' standards with 1.2mm flangeways.
https://www.britishfinescale.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=finetrax-00-b7
00-SF will take a little longer as I am still on the design and testing stage...

Sounds like 00 gauge items might be very popular. Everyone is in their starting blocks.
I know you mentioned that 00 kits will be launched in the next week or so. Will that be turnouts only, at this stage?
If that is the case, when to you expect matching diamond crossings?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Wayne the printer I used is a Nova3D Elfin 2 printer available on Amazon and the software is Fusion 360.
Great. Are you planning on using cyanoacrylate to glue it to the ply timbers?

Hey,
Looking fantastic! What printer and material? Also what software did you design in?

How are you getting on with these?
Hi,
I am currently processing the EMGS order. All bases are now printed, 40% of switch blades are milled. Need to finish and despatch their order before the end of this week.
Production so far has gone very smoothly, but I have been a little delayed by other work and family commitments.
I am then away (caravanning) over the Bank Holiday weekend with my wife and little boy.
On my return, I will be concentrating on releasing the EM gauge kits on my website, followed by the 00 gauge version.

This has probably been discussed previously and I've missed it but is the product designed so that the top of the rail aligns with any existing suppliers flexitrack track making products?
What is the height from the base to the top of the rail?
Not something that's insurmountable, but it would be useful if the points were are direct fit.
It's 4mm from base to rail top, same as Peco bullhead and C&L thick sleeper flexi track.

Hi Guys,
Regarding timescales on releasing the kits.
Since the EM Gauge Society are supplying me the code 75 bullhead rail, I am first prioritising fulfilling their order for EM B7 kits. EMGS members will be able to order direct from the EMGS store at a discounted price.
This is going to be my first time processing a batch order, and I am still finding my feet in mass production, but it's looking good so far
This will push the Standard 00 Gauge release to the end of this month.
Thanks for your patience and support, everybody!
