  1. Yeah, his work is mindbogglingly good, but then your stuff it pretty top draw too and close to, if not up with his standard.
  2. Regarding using plastic card for the roof girders, don't be so hasty to under estimate their strength. Elsewhere on this site there is a thread of someone who's build a bridge in Manchester out of the stuff.. he then stress tested it.. with about 15 cans of beer!!! The rough calculations showed it was actually as strong (in scale terms) as the original bridge was estimated to be, possibly stronger because he didn't have the final cross members in place when he did the test.
  3. Have you tried ballasting the trucks ( as a test fill with something like a few coins) as I read somewhere that lightweight trucks can cause problems as they don't press down on the track with sufficient force. I'd probably keep the area between the station and the goods sidings ( they are meant to be in view right? ) fairly light - maybe a simple road or similar. How about looking at Bescot for instance has a station, 'waste land' then marshalling yard and TMD.
  4. Slightly different body with smoother roofline and slightly different front end, but a little bit of kitbashing and yes it could work as a replica of :-
  5. Obviously technically Berresfords pre-dates your layout but I know there a good number of buses preserved in their livery so plenty of excuse
  6. I keep seeing this layout and thinking of a flickr friend of mine and the old bus company he was associated with. You just HAVE to put in one or two 'Berresfords' liveried buses. (for instance - renown has a huge number of such buses on his stream)
