Never start building things when theres only half hour left on call, and the voice in the head says "Go on, you'll be safe..."...

Just found some photos of the old railway line that run down the main road in the next village... It looks very, very modelable, but I must get this one completed first!

Thought I had it all figured out, but in the end not... Back to the planning.

Time for a brew and to throw track at a 4 x 1.5' bit of cardboard to see what sticks...

Found the location of the Spanish importer of UK outiline, and they're not far from the 'local' rail museum... Time for a road trip methinks.

After two weeks of running around, I've finally got a board, and some cork... Maybe time to start one of these bloggy things then...

6.50€ per box file, as they're 'special order'... 45€ for a small piece of MDF... I don't think so... Not when there's a skip behind the kitchen cabinet makers.

If the local stationers complain they're out of boxfiles for the weekend... I'm blaming Stubby!

Note to self - Don't let the father in law near the layout plans...

Anyone would think I was on the quest for the holy grail, instead of a 4'x1' bit of board and some braces...
