I tend to park as far away from the door as I can ( to avoid the trolley scrapers) and you still get some dunderheid parking right next to you in a near empty car park. SWMBO got a right good ding from a white car at her office, only one white car in the office but the person denies it. Should have kept the old landie unrestored, no-one would park next to that midden....

Back from a weeks holiday. A dip into RMWeb shows that life has continued without change.

Contemplating five weeks of batchelor hood when my wife flies to NZ tomorrow.

A few years ago, my Girlfriend went to Argentina for 2 months and I had all these great plans; mountain biking trips, modelling and lots of drinking with various people all around the UK. Ended up working 12 hour days for most of teh time and was so knackered afterwards and at weekends, that I did nothing. Hope your 'freedom' goes better.

Currently working on the artwork for a LNWR 45ft D13 Family Saloon.

Cut the end of my left hand index finger badly with a kitchen knife last night. Making holding plasticard for working on the new overbridge a bit difficult.
-
Damn, broken my own rule not to get involved in debates which are "opinion" based!

Despite feeling pleased with progress on the extension to London Road, can't help feeling it's two steps forward, one step back at the moment.

Finished the wiring on two of the new boards for London Road, just got to finish the control panel and the fiddle yard.

Getting on with assembling the test etch for some new LNWR six wheel carriage kits, no frothing please.
-
Had a good day working on the design for a new 4mm LNWR loco kit.
-
Hooray, finished wiring the control panel (I think). Now to get on with the platformsand redecorating the spare bedroom.
-
Hooray, nearly finished lining out seven LNWR carriages. Just got to fix transfers, varnish, glaze, add roofs, bogies, etc. At least the end is in site and then on to the next kit.
-
Horray, got the traverser fully sorted on its four drawer runners. The loco "turntable" is finished so now I can lay the traverser lines.
-
I suppose I had better get packing everything tommorrow ready to take the layout to Railex.
-
I'll be glad when the work on the layout is done, so I can get back to building some locos and carriages

If I can get rid of this d*mn cold, I'll get on with the next etched loco kit artwork.
