  1. I meant who would trust DJM now, it would be like investing your saving in Northern Rock, pension with Robert Maxwell or investment pot with Lehman Brothers. i think it would be best to refund any money which is left in a fair way to investors and wind up what’s left.
  2. DJM is certainly a brand, but it’s now as toxic as Northern Rock or Lehman Brothers Financial Services - thus worth zero.
  3. Personally I don’t think anyone should simply kiss goodbye to any monies they’ve handed over in good faith, why should this outfit be allowed to potentially walk away/keep probably many thousand pounds of your money ? How you’d go about getting together to take legal action I don’t know, but I wouldn’t just write of your money. You do have to wonder if there was any real intention to deliver all along, like many people have said before CAD work is cheap as chips unlike actual fooling which is big money.
  4. Maybe this is some kind of suicide by cop, make this announcement which effectively kills off any future crowdfunding streams, then blames you all for killing his business as a whole? Anyone who still sends money really needs their head read.
  5. I’d assume everyone who has invested money in the many “you fund it, and I might get round to making it” models have now lost their money in effect - who is going to be stupid enough now to pay further monies to progress such models? Pitty all of us who rang the alarm bell months ago weren’t listened to.
  6. Dave, if you’ve lost £250,000 please please kill the “business” now before you lose everything you’ve ever worked for.
  7. I had a little go at weathering one of my Minerva Panniers, and another one of my Dapol brake vans.
  8. A selection of pictures across my other bits that’ll be brought together once things progress.
  9. The completed coal stage with three of my Panniers awaiting coaling.
  10. With work drawing to a end, I painted the tank framing and rusted the roof.
  11. Attention then turned to masking, and painting the tank.
  12. Once that was dry I applied further paint to the blue engineering bricks, doors and window frames.
  13. On top of the base colours I added some black smoke effect around the coal loading arch, and front where the locos would be steaming.
  14. Initial painting commences with white primer, the brick red.
  15. Coal stage completed, a really enjoyable kit to build for a first timer like me.
  16. I then added the little blue engineering brick details to the building.
  17. With the main building completed, I then built up the coal loading canopy.
  18. With work complete on the base, attention turns to the water holding tank which sits atop the coal loading area.
  19. The next part of the build after the brick base was completed focused on adding over arch brickwork, window sills and door frames.
  20. The first part of the build focuses on building up the internal base frame, where as part two is more concerned with adding the built up brick layers and detail.
  21. I’m embarking on a very mini loco shed diorama in O gauge - the centre stage is a Timbertracks Great Western coal stage. Initially the thread will focus on its construction, then once our house move is complete the actual baseboards and so on.
  22. Really looking forward to 1401, maybe more.
  23. Is the order book still open, so he still wants orders but starves potential customers of information ? It just doesn’t make any sense at all
  24. Why doesn’t someone who has the newsletter just post it ? Your not under any any legal obligation not to surely, DJ isn’t going to cancel your order is he? It’s a toy train, albeit a very expensive one it’s not state secrets ! All this secert for two weeks nonsense just pushes potential future customers further and further away.
