  1. Hello All, Just a quick update. The Canadian N gauge layout St Combs has been withdrawn but replaced with an American HO layout Goose Lake. Roland Turner is now listed on the website as a demonstrator. 4 weeks this weekend.....
  2. It is confirmed that all being well, DJ Models will be revealing the Clayton Class 17. Also, Dave will be giving a lecture, one each day, on what goes into producing a new model. Subjects covered will include laser scanning the real thing. This is something completely different and well worth visiting.
  3. I think we are both best to stick to what Meg says, especially if getting a delivery of tablet depends on it! Thanks for letting me know. The layout list will be updated shortly.
  4. https://www.facebook.com/BlairModel/ This link will take you to see latest progress on one of our many star attractions. Blair Atholl to Drumochter is being refurbished and makes its debut at our show this summer. Rumour has it that it might snow again soon.....
  5. Layouts all booked - 40 this year! I think the halls will be full again!
  6. A few more exhibits have been added over the last few days. See our web link above.
  7. You will be busy! Airbrushing will be the main demo feature along with general scenics too I believe.
  8. Arbroath confirmed to appear - OO Gauge DCC from Dundee MRC
  9. .... several more layouts added including Dubbieside by Allan Goodwillie (possibly the last chance to see this excellent P4 layout); Airthrey Park by SDEG and "Chocolate and Cream, The Schoolboys' Dream" GWR O Gauge Tinplate by Dale Smith. Looks like we will be hitting the 42 layout mark! You will also see that we have started adding traders now to our website. http://www.perthmrc.com/page6.htm
  10. .... and some more societies added today. Also Lammermuir in N Gauge by Greenock MRC.
  11. .....and possibly a fourth Scottish location layout. Awaiting confirmation that a model of Arbroath station will appear.
  12. Between major updates, we will add information as we go. Now we are pleased to say that there will be another chance to see Alloa by The Scottish Region Study Group. In what is turning out to be a bit of a theme, we are also going to be exhibiting our own OO Gauge layout depicting Laurencekirk as it was in the late 50s to the mid 60s. This means that along with Blair Atholl Towards Drumochter we will have 3 large OO Gauge models depicting real locations in Scotland. Stan
  13. Looking good! I think one of those pointy-nosed kettles No. 60009 would look good on your layout too! Looking forward to following progress and well done so far. Stan
