      Clockwork, obviously. The third rail doesn't match either major British system of delivering current.

      Elastic bands were used in Lone Star Treble-o-electric! As a six year old I found them useless and changed to Triang TT.

      Both have clear advantages, Clockwork for smooth starts 3 rail at 100 volts for moving cats off the track.
