  1. Look forward to seeing progress, right up my street
  2. Thanks Bazjones1711, that's exactly what I was trying to find out! I take it it was quite difficult to do then?
  3. Yes the handrail(s), they are made out of very thin plastic. I have had two Bachmann 08's and I try and handle them carefully but the same thing has happened to both, which is frustrating and ruins the look of the loco. I am tempted to go with Hornby for my next class 08 purchase.
  4. Sorry I did look for the most appropriate part of the forum to post this but obviously not close enough! yes if a Mod could move it accordingly that would be great. Sorry!
  5. Has onyone else experienced the problem with the Bachmann Class 08's, whereby the elevated plastic rodding which runs alongside the top of the bodyside panels has snapped off? Has anyone tried replacing it with thin wire? And is the Hornby class 08 (not the Railroad version obviously) generally considered a superior model?
  6. Fantastic work and great pics, you give me a lot of inspiration
  7. Congratulations! Will definitely purchase a copy. Great layout you have there
  8. wow what an amazing looking layout, you certainly have captured a British feel, great attention to detail
  9. amazing layout... amazing layout...
  10. Adding on to the comment regarding timber traffic made by Rob, a few Grainflow wagons for the whisky distilleries would also set a distinctive Scottish mood....they are not currently produced as far as I know but Lima and Bachmann have previously manufactured these wagons and you could pick them up off ebay easily enough.
  11. This is a fantastic looking layout and you have certainly captured a Scottish flavour. All I would say is keep up the good work!
  12. Hi Module00, the ayout looks great, is is modelled on any particular location in Scotland? can you upload a track diagram?
