Lockerbie eh.... I'm sorry Stephen, we turned down an invitation to Glasgow as none of the team wanted to drive so far. In fact we have decided that the furthest north we would be prepared to go would be Manchester or Leeds. In fact Salisbury is the only show I have a firm booking for - not much good to you I'm afraid. As we have "done" just about all the shows local to us I do need to offer the layout to clubs further afield. I will announce any forthcoming shows in this topic so keep looking!

Thanks Chaz, I'll keep a watch for updates.,

York and Wigan are the most southerly shows I regularly travel to, two and a half hours/140 or so miles is about the limit for a day trip to see a quality show, which both York and Wigan are. The other alternative is the annual weekend pilgrimage to Telford in September.  Typically the only Telford Guildex I have missed since 1998 was the one you were at with Dock Green.

These three photos are the last of those I took at the Farnham show that are worthy of sharing on here. They include one for all you fans of Gresley's superb V2s. Those of you who don't like Sir Nigel's designs (and there can't be that many such deluded souls) will just have to avert their gaze.

 

 

 

 

That's your lot until Dock Green's next show which will be at Salisbury on the 13th and 14th of May next year. Pencil it  in your diary?

Hi Chaz,

I have just finished reading your Dock Green thread, quite excellent. Your recent work on various vans has got me out of the modelling doldrums and I now have three Parkside vans progressing well. I would love to see your layout in person, do you have any more northerly exhibition bookings in next year or two?

Morning all, it's been a while but this morning I've had an email from MOK and the 15xx kit is in development, there's no time frame for delivery but as with any kits from MOK it will be worth the wait.

They have said they could do a set of wheels to go with the kit.

They have announced they will be doing a custom set of wheels for the 9F kit and if uptake on these is high enough the 15 will get the same treatment.

Hi Steve, I have this evening registered any interest in a 15xx kit. Hopefully Telford coming up will give the numbers another push.

Nice to see the station end of the layout moving on, the retaining walls are impressive and I particularly like the cast iron panels on the bridge .
