  1. Correct, anyone wishing to take close up photos, please contact Nigel, his mates are hiring out seats on their Dive boat.
  2. From Dover Marinas webpage, Nigel, Return of the Russian Fleet: Part Two. The latest information received this morning places the fleet 250 miles east of Gibraltar, so a little outside the scope of this page if I'm honest! However, regular updates will track their progress. Bunkering has taken place off the coast of Oran and the fleet has been joined by the large ocean going tug Nikolay Chiker. Information received would also indicate a return transit of the Dover Strait highly likely.
  3. Not at the moment Andy, but once the beach defences have been completed around end of April, Once again people can walk the beach and use the bridge at low tide. Here,is the link to all my photos on RMwebs tread, of the Seawall repairs. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/106504-folkestone-dover-sea-wall-wash-out/page-184
  4. On the beach cliff side of the layout, the footbridge was completed, in two weekends.
  5. Few Photos,I took this morning, after wiring up to a battery for testing only. My Thanks goes to Freebs, once again, Many photos and mails passed between us,in 18 months. Atm, the canopy and backscene, has been built on a plinth by Freebs, I have to remove this and fit it to my ready made platform, once I have removed the old photo back scene of platform 1.
