    Hi, I've only just stumbled over your fantastic model of Kemp Town station - it is incredible! I have just returned to railway modeling after a 36 year break, and had decided to base the layout around a small SR terminal station. 

    Thumbing through google images and loads of old photos that are about, I came across Kemp Town, I'd not model the sprawling yards that it has, but the compact yet graceful staion building and platform is perfect for what I was envisioning.

    Now - being cheeky - because I couldn't hope to craft something so exquisite if I lived to be 100, would you be willing to sell me a copy of the file for a laser cutter? (I have access to one at work). I totaly appreciate it if you don't, because modelers should just model - but now I have seen what I need so perfectly fabricated - I just wondered!

      Thanks for your comments. You can have the files providing they are not used for commercial gain. The model is half relief but could be easily adapted to a stand alone model, there are photos on the web of the front of the building if not it is very similar to Brighton London Road. Send me your email address and I will send the files by the wetransfer file transfer service. Note the building is designed for 2mm MDF and 1mm Romark plastic. When all this crap is over Brighton will be back on the exhibition circuit as it has booking well into 2023.

    I’m nervously waiting to see what tomorrow brings me as an NHS Doctor. But modelling is an amazing relaxation and distraction. Got a project on the go to unwind

      Tom, I understand how you are feeling and good luck. My son and daughter in-law are both doctors and are finding it all very stressful. My daughter in-law being a respiratory consultant is the clinical lead for corona in her hospital. I feel for her if it starts to really kick like in Italy.
