      Depending on the type of chassis you're after there are better available elsewhere. Have a look at Rumney Models.

    Why is it that no one can seem to make bogie sides with the correct wheelbase? Last time I checked Mk1s were 8'6". Manufaucturers seem to want to make them with anything but that measurement!

    Bach 47 in paint (yellow on waiting days to dry before masking for Blue). So, what's next? Hmmm Bachmann 37 (lots to fix on that); Hornby 50 (not tooooo much to do, but not top of my list); Hornby 31... maybe, I want to work out what needs to be sorted with body shape so maybe not the easiest of projects (I've 2 to do); Heljan 26 - a possibility as the body only needs grills and glazing but the bogie detail needs work, or; perhaps another deltic. Decisions decisions?

    Phew! Last etch fitted to Bach 47 body - cab side screens and door windows. Thin, but nice. Hoping for some warmer weather now so that I can get some primer on.

      I wont tell anyone! They do look rather easy to distort. I'll have to find my paint stripper before attempting to fit them on the one I've started. Not too sure where I've put that. It might be in store along with my cellulose thinners. Don't tell the storage people!

    Couldn't believe my eyes earlier today south of Northampton. DBS Class 92 on NACCO 'Silver Bullets' heading north. Where were the double headed 37's?

      The clay comes from overseas now via the tunnel hence the use of 92s. 37s haven't been used on clay trains now for a long time.

    Had a fantasic weekend at Scaleforum. It was great to meet so many people. I was so nusy on the demo that I hardly saw any of the show. The up side to that was I came away
