Try listening to a teenager (and sometimes older) saying "no" and you will understand exactly what is meant!

One further bit of advice(which I ignored and lost a considerable sum of money) is to set your price at which you will buy and more importantly when to sell and STICK TO IT!It is very tempting when selling to hope for just that wee bit more but.........

Dear friends, much as I dislike posting anything which could be construed as a moan, this I have to share(and the thread title does say "Grumpies"!)

Well and truly beaten to it!From the excellent S'oton exhibition on Saturday was purchased Vols 1 & 2 of "The Forest of Dean Branch" and further supplies of pipework and other accessories from Knightwing to gee up my GWR twig inspired by Whimsey.Look forward to some more photies s'ose I can crib your pipe runs!(Vol 2 of the above gives some super photies of the bitumen unloading facilities giving locations of tanks, heaters etc but no detail of pipe runs or exactly how the tanks were heated before discharge.)

I have a blue weathered 31270 which seems fine at the moment.Sorry to ask what may be a daft question but is it's collapse inevitable? As far as we know,is the whole batch with that number doomed? Very many thanks for any thoughts. Tim.
