  1. On the ancestry trail was sad but, at the same time, interesting. You first mentioned Clifford's father, William Blount, which got my interest. One of the big coal merchant names when I was growing up, with coke becoming the norm in the late 50s, was Charrington's who had a depot with a long coal drop at Brentford, as well as other depots, and coal offices often next door to station entrances.

  6. An update on the Iceland Volcano vehicles. A new wall is in progress between Nátthagi valley, alongside the lava which is advancing towards the road and the ocean, and Nátthagakriki valley to stop the lava going over the other side as well and possibly towards the town of Grindavík.
