    ok thanks for the fast replies. did they put the regions name on the vehicles like they do now? the models of x2100/x2200 I've seen pictures of don't seem to have any region name or logo on them. cheers Tim

    hi everyone sorry beginner question... I notice that some autorails and trailers were in the colour schemes of red/white, blue/white, green/white or yellow/white. were these specific to different regions? were these liveries from the 1980s? I'm thinking primarily about x2200 and rrr sets I've seen pictures and models of but also some older autorails in blue/white. cheers Tim

    hopefully someone will take on the class 50 if we can have a class 22 and 17 in n surely a class 50 is viable! I know prices gone up and pound down but still... if it was good the tooling could keep being used for a decade or more and special liveries produced etc. etc. Tim

    should it have a chimney? how about working tail lamp option for a small extra fee? put a battery in the cabin maybe. nice idea to supply a no gap plough with it keep up the good work! Tim

    any news on whether Dapol will produce the 142 in a greater Manchester or a provincial livery? I would buy one or two models but not really into t&w yellow or regional railways livery and don't model post privatisation. I know they may need to change the door type for earlier versions where the livery only operated with original doors but hope Dapol will do this. also a sound fitted pacer would be good!! Tim

    I would like a departmental grey one. at least an easy re-paint. they are doing blue, green, construction sector and nse so all main liveries coming out which is good to see. I suppose west coast, drs, ews fragonset and any other less common liveries might come out as specials one day. what other liveries has this class worn? I'm sure I missed some...? tim

    I pre ordered one from hattons so presume it will be in the post next week I hope 31/4 will follow soon too sound fitted would be good too! Tim

    I cancelled my order. I just will wait for polybulks to come down in price or look on ebay next year. Why bother with offering pre order prices at all??? I have pre ordered a class 31 with another shop so will be interesting to see if that one stays at same price. Tim

    I ordered from rails of Sheffield I like this shop and nothing against them at all but just wondering how come others got their pre orders for lower price and not me tim

    I pre ordered polybulks for the low price mentioned elsewhere in this thread but the shop say they will not honour this price. Yet I read on here that some others have received their wagons for the pre order price. Any thoughts? Why have some people been sent their wagons for the pre order price but not me??? Tim
