One question, how do digital subscribers view the special issue?
Digital subscribers can fill-in an online form and we'll post the glasses out FOC.
Or, they can send us a stamped addressed envelope.
It looks great on screen!
-
Surprised gulp :-)
I had not seen that coming. Very futuristic!
Honestly, it blew me away when I first saw the images. We'll be previewing it at Warley and selling that issue at the show. We have some teaser videos coming soon also.
-
Edit, weird, can't get the right smiley to show! Anyway, what I meant was: Gulp!
'Gulp' as in a good gulp? Honestly, it's amazing.
-
Steve, sorry to be OT, but have you seen my PM?
Graham
Sorry, I must have missed it. I've just replied.

Good morning all,
The BRM December Digital Edition goes live later today and it really is a cracking issue. Just read the content list below...
The annual National Festival of Railway Modelling in Peterborough (October) gave us the perfect opportunity to speak to both readers and non-readers about what they like (and don't) about the magazine and to hear suggestions for future improvements. It was great to hear so many positive comments and to get non-readers to see just how far the magazine has progressed over the past few years. I really think that this issue is a great example of why BRM has grown so much in recent months.
The print edition goes on-sale on Thursday, November 9th. Be sure to get down to your local magazine outlet. Below is a short preview video for this month's DVD.
And one final comment, check out our Next Month pages (136-137) as we have something very, very special planned for BRM January. We'll be posting some teaser videos in the coming weeks, but this really needs to be seen to appreciate just how incredible it is. Everyone we've shown it to has been amazed. I've never been so excited about a 'promotion' in all my years in magazine publishing. See the Next Month pages to found out what this 'promotion' actually is.

OK folks, there are 30 layouts attending the show. Who's seen the most?
List those you've seen and three things you like about each - no cheating now!
The winner who has seen the most layouts wins this Bachmann 12 Ton pipe wagon in BR engineers olive green, to be collected from the BRM stand at the show.
See you there!

and...blatant plug time...
Make sure you head over to the BRM stand for an amazing subs offer (free loco...hint hint) and we'll be selling our two new bookazines:
I won't be working this show (I'll be 'mooching' around on the Saturday morning though) so pop along and say hello to Ruth, Amie, Chloe and Natalie. The BRM editorial team will also be on-hand: Howard, Phil, Andy and Mr York!
-
Looking forward to seeing Peafore Yard again Rob, an excellent little layout.
I'll be heading over to 'Neely'. As a child I lived close to Ely and, having seen this layout in BRM Oct, I'm looking forward to seeing it 'in the flesh' so to speak.

Hi all,
With reference to the DVD, we feel that the DVD content needs a 'refresh', much in the same way as magazines get once-in-a-while. Our video production department have some cracking ideas which we are going to discuss next week. Watch this space...

My Subscription Mag has not arrived yet ?
Apologies, but subs copies were due to be dispatched on Friday which meant most would have arrived with subscribers on Monday morning. Due to the Hatton's announcement having a strict embargo we had to delay posting. If you haven't had your copy, I hope it will be with you today.
-
i don't know why Steve 1980 ,but when i posted that comment my statement was true but i rechecked it in pocket mags( my digital subscription ) ad both articles are fine . did my digital issue not down load properly the first time ?
I honestly don't know, as I experienced the same problem at 9am yet at 9.30am it was fine. My colleagues also checked and it was fine for them. Maybe there's a glitch that affects a small number? I'm in contact with MagCloner though.
-
Hi all,
Remember that the BRM October Digital Edition includes an extra video on the Hatton's announcement. You have the pleasure of seeing Andy York interview Hatton's Dave Mylett, showing how EP samples come together and you see both new models running on the Hatton's test track.
The new Digital Edition can be download at www.brmm.ag/BRMdigi
Enjoy,
Steve

HMM the beach house and buildings of little muddle are on one page and both articles not complete in the digital issue. Not impressed .
Hi,
This is bizarre as I've experienced that problem once, yet my colleagues have got the correct magazine. I've rechecked and it seems OK. Can you check again please?
Steve
-
I've been looking through the Digital issue but can't find the video referred to for Little Muddle. Can someone guide me to where it is please.
It's on page 6 of that article.
-
Thanks Steve - it is visible now. Should it be £3.99 or £4.99? On the purchase page it shows as 3.99 but when in the basket it comes up as 4.99 (could be VAT)?
Cheers, Mike
It should be £4.99. This is the price that I can see on both the purchase page and when added to my basket.
-
The October digital issue doesn't seem to be available yet on Pocketmags - just tried to follow the link from BRM's email and came up with page not found (and search brought up the Sept issue).
Cheers, Mike
It should be live any time now. There is occasionally a delay in us setting it live to it being visible on Pocketmags.
