Hi Harry, I think you'll be surprised at just how many enthusiasts don't actually have a model railway. At the four exhibitions BRM attends we make a point of asking most of those who subscribe whether they have a layout. We estimate that approx 80% don't, yet they all comment that they plan to attempt one in the future. There will be a collection of various 5" gauge electric and steam engines running throughout the day. Most models have been painstakingly hand built over many years. Rides will cost £1.
