Hi Mike
Coincidently, I've been rereading the first dozen pages of the Silhouette thread again. I don't want this to sound pretentious, but rereading it we wounded like a bunch of explorers heading out into the unknown. The thread has become more of a backwater, as is right, as people get on with things.
I think that the work you have put in this year has been amazing, and your techniques very interesting. You certainly pushed everything forward.
I will look forward to continue reading about your forays into Victorian railways.
I hope you have a happy, healthy and productive New Year.
Cheers
Jason

Thanks David

Hi David, this looks really interesting. Could you be persuaded to go into the detail of the build when you are happy with it?
Cheers

hi Nest, I hadn't realised you were in the blog section. You seem to be going from strength to strength.

Hi Mike
They look great, I think you have a brilliant cottage industry going on there.
I hope you don't mind me adding an idea. Previously I used to use a simple rounded corner rectangle to represent a window. On the class 114 I decided to break this up so that the window became four straight lines connected by four arcs. It helped the accuracy no end and removed the bowing of the sides.
Cheers

Hi mike, I barely get time to be on here at the moment, and I must say that I'm really pleased to have made a few minutes. A really interesting read (even though I've read the posts in reverse order!)

Hi there, that's really interesting. I live in Canada, so it's difficult for me to get british paints. I have the choice of the Vallejo and Badger airbrushing ranges. I've a lot of blues in the Badger range, so I'll have a look to see how they compare with your findings.

Hi Mikkel, there is a trace function in Studio, but it works best on silhouettes. It's useful as a stopgap while learning the program.

I agree Mike. Still waiting for my cutter I'm afraid.

That looks great! Good luck with applying it to the boards.

I'm sorry to say that I'm going to have to steal your idea! I promise not to pass it off as my own. They really look the bees knees.

I'm exactly the same, and have been since Boots used to regularly mess up my photo prints.
