Is there an easy way to remove the scale 3 link couplings? They're lovely but fouling the hook and bar couplings.
Had similar problem with Heljan Falcon and ended up slicing/breaking them off with craft knife.
Hi
I have found that if you just hook them up there is no issue with the coupling?
You can see mine working here on tight curves.
Yes the couplings are sloppy like all Heljan locos, but a shim will solve this.
I did remove the coupling hook to make the model look better.

Hi
My full video will be up on YouTube around midnight I guess, its uploading now.
It deals with fitting the bits including head codes.
The issues of the stuck on cab, rectifying the gap under the cab after.
There is also a test run with various loads.
I am off to bed as am on duty at 03:55 tomorrow, I'll leave it uploading.
Not trying to teach anyone how to suck eggs but the content may be of help to some.
Cheers
Mike

Cracking Info there, Brian; thanks for posting!
Hi
So where did the Teddy Bear name come from?
Also has anyone got a close up pic of all the bits correctly fitted? its not that apparent from the drawing.

Hi
Mine arrived today :-) got to work out where all the bits go as the Heljan diagramme is very hard to understand.
But I have test run it and it is very smooth.
Looks good as well.
Plan a video review once I can fully assemble it LOL
Here is a preview.
By the way sorry for my lack of attendance over recent months, I had a personal tragedy in the summer of last year and everything has been upside down.
Just trying to get back to some interests now.
Cheers

Hi
Do you think this is a missing part on the model? it would seem to be a very clumsy mistake if not.
