Ahh, ok, I stand corrected! I'd assumed aerials as some samples had them and some didn't! So will these be on all the of them now we know what I actually mean!

The aerials are shown on some of the other samples, 30064 for example, but an easy fix if not included. I'm sure I wouldn't have noticed if they weren't shown on those other samples!

I notice the aerials on the front of the tanks are not shown on the photo of 30069. Will (or could) these be included in an accessory pack as it carried these for a number of years in its later life?

Were there any detail differences between 1361 late crest as being sold and 1363 or 1365 when withdrawn? Thinking of renumbering the 1361 to 1363 or 1365 to have a pristine model which survived into 1962.

I attempted some research on these when Bachmann announced these, but failed to get the info. I wanted, so someone here might know? Were these used on the BR Southern region (west) and would they have been green or maroon in 1962 if they did?

I see the revised running numbers for the BR versions shown on the Hornby 2014 annoncement thread have the late crest 30693 which was scrapped in 1961, whereas the early crest is 30315 which was scrapped late 1962. It's a shame they have used the numbers this way round, as it would have made more sense if the late crest version had the later scrapping date? One ordered on the day on the assumption that the error would make the late crest 30346 or 30325, both which fitted with 1962 for me, but will now have to cancel. BRs1962

Does anyone know how the devopment of the 02 is progressing?? Has Calbourne been scanned? With all the well deserved praise for the BTW, all seems to have gone quiet on this - unless I've missed something...
