How many left now?
And excellent job on the model.

Thanks for all of the comments folks.
Blimey, that's real dedication posting on RMWeb at that hour. Thanks.
Did it come out at 4am over there? It was only 1pm in Sydney, so not really dedication. However, I do stand by the comment I made.9 1/2 out of 10, with a 1/2 margin for error

I'm looking at the pictures, and part of me still just can't accept that it is in 2FS. This is truly a wonderfully crafted and detailed layout, and KGV and the Warship are just the icing on a very spectacular cake.

Ahh...I see what you did there with that title!
Looking better every time I pass through here. I still can't wait to see it finished.

This is a fantastic build. My only question is how much of a percentage is still Bachmann on the model?!
-
Perfection!

Cheers mate! R.e. gaps, I'm guessing you're referring to the ones on the inside around the doors and windows. If yes, I'm going to wait until I've got the walls clad and the roof made but not stuck on to see how dark it is in there. That way, if I need to do something about them, I can.
Matt.
Well, that answers that. Overall, very well done, and the CAD/Sketchup model as well.
Sketchup is great. I'm currently using it for a few future projects and it is just fantastic for the purposes.

Looks fantastic mate! Only point being that you might need to fill in the gaps if they will be seen. Have fun making the curved roof supports...

Well, we all know steam engines are dirty, steamy things!

I'd love to know whether the MNs have full working Bulleid chain driven valvegear (and scale oil baths!).

*still collecting jaw off the ground after seeing those MNs!*

Absolutely lovely little locomotives. I have a couple of shots of 1905 at the NSWRTM I can provide you with if you like.
-
Cor! This looks better than the last set of shots you took of it!

That is an extremely atmospheric shot. It really highlights the models stunning design.

Looks fantastic Simon. Tender looks a tad small for a Pacific's apatite though!

This will sound...different!

Some nice modelling there Simon. Now all you need is a Raven A2 for the full fleet!

That has got to be the worst looking 47 I have ever seen-fantastic job!
-
I have to ask...was it fiddly?
-
Both Markits and Alan Gibson do suitable wheels but beware as Markits wheels are self quartering, and would give you an incorrect 90 degrees of offset compared to the Gibson option which can be set to the correct 120 degrees.

What an absolute little beauty!

*cannot find words to describe the beauty of the above model*

Bachmann really missed a trick with the 'new' V2, that's for sure.
