Having asked the question it all looks to be good to go. As ‘our’ (Rapido) order book has been extended they have also kept theirs open to match.
Thanks Andy. Was a little confused as it was past the cutoff date but nothing had been heard.
I look forward to my RT/HH02, and might have to take it down to see PWD79 one day. -

Spotted on the Hardy's Hobbies website:
https://hardyshobbies.co.uk/shop/partners/rapido/rapido-trains-hunslet-16in-0-6-0st-plain-versions/
They appear to be offering unlined, unlettered versions, subject to meeting minimum pre-order numbers in each livery. Plus, each one will come with a driver and fireman figure from the Hardy's range.
An easier answer to those wanting their own liveries without having to remove various printed-on details?Has anyone heard if they did indeed meet the minimal cut-off number for these to proceed?

I wonder how similar Hornby's 2022 announced steam generator is to the TRS system?

Ahh so I'm not the only one that noticed this then
I wonder if Hornby has purchased the rights to the tech from TRS or similar. -
It has also been pointed out that the rights to "The Lady with a Lamp" also lie with Studio Canal on the Rapido thread....

I hope Hornby aren't too attached to that "The Railway Children Return" set.....given that's a Studio Canal property.

Sorry mate!
That might just well be me sold though. Mate's got the current form, and I was happy you'd not offered the viridian green to save my wallet for now. Alas, no more.
Just don't announce an 88 now.- 1

Interesting weight, compared to my Baccy. cl 37 which weighs in at 540g, non DCC, wonder what the Accura. 37 will weigh.
If we chart the way things are going, 102t to 107t, with a 37/7 and 37/9 about 122t.

MRA wagons
in Dapol
On 17/11/2021 at 23:14, TomScrut said:I although if a lot of MRAs are out of use maybe with my layout being based 2020-2021 that I should move my 10 on to replace with something else.
Well if you have a set of 859Bs you wouldn't mind parting with, I'm sure I could send them on a nice long sabbatical to Australia .
I really picked the wrong end of the decade to want MRAs and JJAs... -

How about buying three sets??
Why can I see Fran on the phone to ROG with an evil glint in his eye, telling them to put more and more sets together to ensure more people purchase them?
I assume that also would mean 37 800 confirmed for batch 2- 2

Thanks all. That definitely gives us a solid answer.
I'm very quickly learning that modern UK intermodal wagons are a fair sized minefield! -
G'day all,
Asking on behalf of a friend investigating the DRS Stobart/Tesco train-what class is the twin platform wagon in the attached photograph? We are aware that it is not an IKA (or at least the type as modelled by Dapol) and is definitely not an IDA, but are stumped as to what it is. Unfortunately no search of photos or videos has given us a clear enough view of the code to work it out. Is anyone able to lend a hand?

Out of curiosity, just what is the actual thickness of the curved area on the model-about 1mm?
-
I know there's been discussion on light bleed from the bodyshell seams of late. So if anyone wants to know how it looks on the real thing, the gentleman looking after the real thing recently posted this photo. I initially thought it actually was a fixed Hornby car.

Given the Deltic and PFAs are now due at around the same time*, hopefully there won't be a leak and we get a glowing Gordon Highlander-it's bright enough as is!

Well are we!!!!!!!!pmsl.
If you kids can't keep your hands to yourselves, I'm going to turn this car around and there'll be no Accurascale models for anyone!

That's it! Back to Dublin!- 2

That circular cut-out should be an easy fix, assuming there isn't tender frame structure behind it...
I agree, and it's on my list of small changes to sort.
I just find a bit of irony in a fix being applied but then the other fix not being applied.- 2

The irony is the tender frame is STILL wrong despite this correction-the very much visible circular cut-out in the frame rear has still not been applied.

Yes, Royal Scots Grey and D9016 had been sold out, but we've managed to secure a teeny little bit of capacity that adds a few more back to the for sale bucket!
Thank goodness for insomnia and late night impulse purchasing then!

Magnetic train numbers a good idea, would be nice to see this sold separately.

Hornby naming the GT3 as model of the year with its issues and mistakes says more about HM and it’s relationship with KR.
Regardless of your thoughts on the model, which are not entirely unfair, this shows more about your lack of understanding with the vote than if you'd not tried for the snide remark at the end.

I wonder why there is no word on the class 89, i’m sure that would be much more popular.
Without trying to wander too far off topic on page 1, I believe it was mentioned it has been due to having trouble accessing the locomotive to scan it at the depot it is/was being reactivated at.

Looks like every single MDO and MDV pack sold out in standard BR liveries with just the Planet Industrials/Grimethorpe Colliery and MC ones left!
I know one friend down here who is very disappointed he waited an hour after I sent the email to him.
Class 37, by Accurascale

Part of me wonders if Guinness and a long night at the Accurascale office were involved, they've misplaced the models and now are trying to remember where they put them when playing "Hide the 37"
