FWIW I do find the undertrack magnets - fixed or switchable - are too strong for UK metal axles but between the rails seem OK..

    Chris

I use the Kirby system and have no problem with metal axles. The magnets do however affect Hornby DMUs - Class 122, 153 & 156 - by slowing them over the magnet.

Started off from Crewe Electric with 67010 attached as well but only made it as far as Platform 5 before returning and detaching 67010 which was needed elsewhere so was running 27 late when it passed through Hatton.

Amazed you can leave those boxes of cat food pouches unguarded. In my house they have to remain behind lock and key (a merely closed kitchen cupboard isn't secure enough!) or they tend to gain mysterious rips and puncture wounds.....

He might have big feet and extra toes but he is not very good at using them! Needs a nose sized gap to open a door. We can even leave an open pouch out withiut it being touched!

I enclose a picture of my model of Corfe Castle station. I used a combination of Metcalf platforms and a Metcalf road surface with the road surface extending to the platform edge on the station building side. You can see that the main problem is the joints between the cardboard sheets.

You mean that somebody was actually employed to get off their posterior and attend an address????!!!

I thought we had all become proficient in TV, computer and any other sort of repairs!
