Precision decals produce 3D printed air horns for the Class 37.
Any pictures of these fitted on there models.
-
Just found this topic can somone show these fitted on there model
also need the length of these.
-
They flicker at low voltage then remain bright when
controller turned up.
-
Any one have pictures of the Markits fitted
on there Diesels.
-
I have the same controllers they wont work with DCC fitted locos they are
designed for varied pulses so locos keep a constant speed, thats the
reason i use them you can get your locos to run as slow as you want,
not measured the voltage out put.
-
Has any one tried fitting a switch on these so the sound can be switched off
so there is no sound when you handle it saves on batteries too, just want to
know if it is possible before purchasing.
-
Yes thanks seen these have you purchased any.

For one of the LMS Twins consider Class 37 or any thing else roof mounted.

I just order them from Bachmann, who are very helpful and will take bits off returned kit if they don't have spares.
Thanks checked with Bachmann first before posting, they dont
have the Class 37 ones either if any one has any might be suitable.
-
Looking for a replacement for a missing one from Bachmann 10000 diesel
if any one has an original Bachmann spare please pm me, or any suitable
replacements, read on here the Markits 5mm brass ones are over scale can any one
confirm this.

I might have an unused boxed (but old) replica B1 which AFAIK uses the same chassis. PM me if interested?
Andy
I think this is not the same as the replacement Bachmann sold as the
Replica had a rear driven pancake motor with traction tyres thanks
for the offer though.
Any retailers have any old stock of these or might consider a
second hand one but must have tight fitted wheels on axles
and a quiet motor.
-
Complete new chassis with motor fitted.
-
Could this be skew wound like what Hornby use.

I'm led to believe this is the case with all new steam outline Bachmann models recently released.
I hope not if this is the case.

I have just read the review in Model Rail, which states that the Bachmann manual for this loco recommends the use of a smoothed supply when using analogue control, and speculates on the possible fitting of a coreless motor (not mentioned in the BRM or RM reviews).
My layout is an oval with hidden storage sidings, so has gradients at each end. I therefore use Gaugemaster feedback controllers to maintain reasonably constant speeds. I have had a V2 on order for many months and have not previously been aware of this potential problem. Please can anyone advise?
Can any one confirm this has a coreless motor.

One of the scale societies does them in down-loadable format. Someone on here will know which.
Yes thanks this was already mentioned see above posts, does any one know how to contact Hollar.
-
What is available seen the Modelmaster ones any pictures
from Cambridge transfers.
-
Yes have seen this i would if i had a decent printer but
then again can you get paper as thin as transfers
it would probally cost as much to get these printed
professionally.
-
Yes i thought so have seen the ones on Wizards but was hoping
they did a mixed selection all on one sheet there available in
7mm but not 4mm unless some one has seen these.
-
Do they have there own website only seen there products on
traders who list a sheet of assorted wagon posters but
only available in 7mm works out expensive buying all
there seperate sheets if you only need a couple of each one.
-
I guess 31-708 has the later motor and the two models
are the same wondered why it was re-released in the
later box if this is the case.
-
Thanks for the replies might go with Wizards regarding the
thickness of the brass is there any difference between theres and A1s.
