I’ve asked repeatedly on a variety of forums but the only response was that they got the paint spec from Freightliner, which although is fine doesn’t say if it was the darker or the lighter shade, and evidence points that it was the lighter one.
i spoke to hattons yesterday and they admitted that the colour is wrong and have told me to return the loco to them for a refund

Has anyone asked hattons about the colour of 66623 since its release, just wondering what there response was after the picture they published on social media last week showing the colour difference
-
Has there been any update on the delivery of the 92’s

Hi all
I hadn’t realised that I haven’t updated for so long, but there hasn’t been much to report, there’s been a few new purchases. Then this week I have decided to make one of the fiddle yards slightly wider to allow more variety of stock running on the main line, with doing this it’s allowed me to basically put a full width board in so I can now extend the scenery by another 5ft. My plan is to extend the two sidings with the overhead wires on and to extend the head shunt at the side of the shed to allow locos to enter the shed from the other side.
I’ll get some photos when I move on from a bear board, I’ve got about 5 weeks to complete as the layout is at Preston exhibition first weekend in March

Kev,
We enjoyed the show with the TWY crew. Nice to see all the kids and families. Due to the M6 closure we headed north as your mates recommended and had a non traffic journey down the A1 (M) getting back to Lydd at 03.00hrs. I had a lay in this morning. Thanks to all the Furness team for looking after us.
Cheers.
totally agree with the above comment, excellent weekend, thanks for having us
