My long-term schoolfriend went through this sort of thing with his divorce. His ex put out all sorts of poison about him. Eventually the truth dawned on some of the friends but in the meantime he made a whole lot of new good friends.

It’s tough as due to many circumstances we still live in the same house. Difficult to get out and find new buddies when yer skint and live in a town of less than 3000 :-/

Try and stay positive and things will get better. 12 months ago I attempted to take my own life because of my situation, now I have a new partner and a whole new life that is so much more blessed than I ever was before. Stay positive, keep faithful and keep your eyes forwards, not backwards. Take care of yourself.
