Personally, I have the same loco, but numbered 2728, and mine runs perfectly after 5 years! Perhaps it just needs a good major serving (cleaning the wheels, oiling gears, cleaning pick-ups and running in) should do it, if not, take i to a shop and see what they can do in the case or repairs, if a repair is not possible, change the chassis from the J72 over to the 2721 (same chassis).
