  1. Hi and thank you for the kind words. The layout is 10' x 2' and yes that building is based on the Odeon Cinema at Birmingham New Street. Here are another couple of photos - it's all gone very blue at Hill street - you can almost taste the diesel! Regards Rob
  2. Here are a few update pictures of Hill Street - a small slice of the West Midlands in mid 80s - still lots to do but I think I'm getting there! Rob
  3. Hi, I sell 00 gauge Heljan class 25 self adhesive domino headcode panels on Ebay - Just do a search - You could order a set of those leave me a message with the Bachmann class 37 headcode dimensions and I'll make you a set? Regards Rob
  4. That black part looks like a Dyna-Drive clutch, that's why it has such a large flywheel?! Rob
  5. Thank you everyone for taking time to reply - I've ordered some 60 second super glue, looks pretty good! Regards Rob
  6. Hi, just wondered what type of glue everyone uses to stick plasticard to wood/MDF, got some retaining walls to do?! Thank you Regards Rob
  7. Yes I'll post some updated photos soon! Regards Rob
  8. A class 20 taking it easy - this is the other end of my Hill Street Station layout slowly taking shape!
  9. Hi, I don't suppose anyone has any Vitrains class 47 brake gear lying around that they don't need, I'm missing a few pieces from my second hand purchase?! Regards Rob
  10. DMUs at Hill Street - Can't remember but I may have posted this before?!! Regards Rob
  11. Hi, I'm working on a Vitrains class 47 at the mo, I purchased it second hand and there is one coupling assembly still on there that I wont be using so your quite welcome to have it. Rob
  12. Hi Andy I'm having the same problems as above - Help!
  13. Hi Lee I'm liking the very subtle fading of the yellow on the front, very convincing. Rob
  14. Yes I think you're right about the ballast, I will add some more black. And yes my DMU is a Lima 117 conversion. I managed to do it without chopping or a whole repaint, just did a bit of filling here and there and then blended the blue and grey paint back in to the Lima original, it's also been lowered and fitted with laserglaze. It isn't powered, it'll just get dragged around by my other DMUs and my Heljan 128. Rob
