Quick search on Google finds UK availability of that decoder.
click on the two uk search results and you'll find they are either not kept in stock but ordered on requested or are expected shortly!

I believe Accurascale are recommending the LokPilot 5.
Either the 59619 or the 59629 (DCC only)
-
For anyone looking to buy one there's a second hand one for sale currently no bids.
No involvement with the seller, was just looking through my saved searches and noticed it.

I agree it's the Loksound 5 DCC
Main differences between the Loksound 5 and Loksound 5 DCC are:
-
I thought that might be the case but thought it worth asking.
As DCC++ has been mentioned I might try with DCC++EX to see if that shows the extra functions.
For me It's not a real issue as the only loco I have that uses anything above F28 is the accurascale Deltic and I swapped F22/F23 and F29/F30 in decoder pro as Don't need the wipac functions with Meld!
-
ok just installed it and started Decoder pro.
Selected the Accurascale deltic in the throttle window and still only 28 functions showing.
Tried a different loco without any function labels set up and only showing 28 functions.
I am using an NCE SB5, so is this fix sprog specific?

a setting that should have been there from the start. Any chance of sharing just the cv changes for this? I’m sure I can find out myself by digging in the v5 manual but if you could save me the hassle 😉Unfortunately I made the changes in decoder pro so don't have a list of the CV valvues

For anyone using JMRI and is still having issues with sorting Drive Hold on F5, I have exported a copy of the Roster entry with Drive Hold enabled.
All you need to do is import the roster entry into your own roster, open the entry in programming mode and under the roster tab click the write all sheets button at the bottom.
I have also tweeked F12 so the cab lights turn off with movement and switched back on again when stopped provided F12 is switched on
No other alterations have been made to the original except the address the address is set to 3 and the roster entry is saved as 55003 Meld so just change the address and theid to the label of your choice before writing all the sheets to your deltic
Please note
This was created under release 4.26 of JMRI so can't guarantee it will work for earlier versions.
Changes made under the function map tab
Row 8 removed primary mover and shift mode 6 and added drive hold under the logical Functions column.
Row 16 added 'stopped' under the conditions column
Row 17 added 'stopped' under the conditions column
added function labels
I strongly recommend reading all the CV's on your own Deltic and saving a copy of your roster entry before importing this roster entry and writing all entries to your own deltic
If you would like a copy of the roster entry please PM me and I will send you a link to the file.Brian

That didn’t work either. It didn’t even move when F5 enabled. I’ll discuss it with Accurascale direct.
Do you have an un-altered copy of the roster entry in decoder pro?
Would be worth reverting to the original CV settings then trying again.

Still no luck in getting drive hold to work. Apparently it’s easy with Lokprogrammer but I don’t have one. I’m using Sprog 3 and it’s coming up with loads of CV’s but not the higher value ones listed (cv267,268, 372,373,374) on the Accurascale website. Well it does but ones such as 0.255.267 & 268 which are locked and 1.0.267 etc. but none that are simply 267, 268 etc. lots of options to get things wrong here.
Do you use JMRI?
If so then here's what I did before accurascale gave a work around.
Add the loco to Decoder pro.
open the comprehensive programmer and read all the CV's
when finished save under the roster tab.
open the function map tab and scroll down to F5
Under the logical function column it will say Primary Mover, Shift mode 6
Click on change and deselect shift mode 6 and select drive hold.
Write changes to sheet and save under Roster tab before closing.
Worked for me without removing primary mover.

I would like to say she is perfect, but there are a few issues. There are a lot of specs of black paint in the box that have fallen off detail parts, two of the chains have detached (one is broken but can be fixed), part of the fuel tank detail was in the bottom of the box and sadly one of the headboard brackets has sheared off;
Fixing these are well within my modelling skills, so I will be keeping my RSG, but I feel that for the most part the packaging is at fault. Whilst the current end-clipped clear plastic inserts are streets ahead of the old poly trays, it is the clipped end that had the sheared off bracket and it looks to me as if the chains have been squeezed in the box.
I noticed in the picture that the step is missing from the cormer of the nose! I have the same issue on Meld although on the opposite corner and it wasn't loose in the box

I contacted Accurascale regarding the fact that Drive hold is not working on F5 and Patrick replied with a link for how to solve this:

Very quick video of Meld before it's put to bed.
Captured on my I-phone so not the best quality

Just been running Meld for a while and trying out the functions.
Is it just me or on the sound fitted deltics does F5 drive hold not work?
I was expecting it to hold the speed of the loco whilst allowing the throttle to change the engine tone up or down like the drive lock on LegomanBiffo sound files.
But regardless of whether F5 is selected or not the loco still speeds up and slows down with the throttle.

Well 55003 landed this morning and I've got to say a brilliant model. One piece in the bottom of the ice cube but will bother about that later when I get my reading glasses out.
Put it on the tracks for a first run and the sound is brilliant much better than any of the other Sound locos I have.
Only negative for me really is that I can't access F29 and F30 as I am using an NCE powercab! but can't blame Accurascale for that.
Running in at the moment but no issues so far.

And then there are those of us who wear hearing aids because of our poor hearing to start with. My Lima and Bachmann Deltics already have a throbby low thrumm that has nothing to do with the decoder or sound file ... It's my tinnitus! I guess I'm in for a real treat when my Accurascale Deltics arrive!!
same here, although now I don't know whether to turn them up or down when it arrives😄

Hoping someone can help with me this.
The first four of a total of eight arrived today, so I know it's something I'm doing wrong rather than a fault.
I have removed the blanking plug and fitted an ESU Lok Pilot 5 21 MTC MKL 59659 decoder to each.
They run lovely but I am having an issue with the lights.
With the headlights switched off they come on anyway when the loco first has power supplied and after a second switch off again. If I switch them on with F0, they are fine. What I am struggling with though is the tail lights, F11 switches them on/off but only at one end (they are noted as being directional in the instructions) but they don't switch to the other end when I reverse direction, the headlights do.
Like I say, I have fitted 4 and all are working in this manner so I am clearly doing something wrong, I am just not sure what.
Any help or suggestions gratefully received and thanks in advance.
PS These absolutely outstanding models!
I think it needs logic outputs and the ESU Lok Pilot 5 21 MTC MKL 59659 has all the functions powered.
The 59629 is probably the one to use.

I was just having a paddy after seeing others getting their Deltics first, when I suddenly got a text through to say Meld should be arriving Monday.
I didn’t think I was screaming so loud that they could hear me in Birmingham!
Oh well better go and pick up my toys now!

Thanks for that.
I had it on the two page format and the text section only shows in the single page format.
For some reason only the text only gives two out of the three links, but at least I can watch something!

Just started to read the WOR June 2022 digital edition and all the links for the videos are missing
-
you are correct it's due to the trailer car having no motor, neither the power cab or decoder pro will read the chip if you put the tailer car on the track alone.
For DMU's I normally program both cars together or use a decoder tester to program the chips seperately.

Hi Andy
The issue with the ads applies to me too. I didn't notice as I normally use an ad blocker!
The Gold Lounge also seems to have disappeared, not noticed until I wanted to ask the following question:-
I applied for a free tickets for the Bristol show on the Saturday. The email said that the ticket factory would be sending them out by email a week before the show. We are now only 5 days away from the Start and I still haven't received mine .
Do you know when they are being sent out?
update
Having now posted this I noticed my Gold status has disappeared!
I recently cleared my cache and cookies and relogged into both rmweb and World of Railways.
Istill have access to all the benifts on the World of railways site
Regards

I used a Lenz Standard + decoder in mine. It was hard wired.
Unfortunately it was a few years ago so can't remember if I had to do anything special.
Will dig it out and see if i can take some photos
Ok so taken a look and I did actually add an in-line 8 pin socket so I could remove the decoder should I want to.
The wires are also a little bit oversized so I may take the opportunity to rewire whilst it's apart.
You will see in the two pictures where the grey and orange cables from the decoder need to be connected.
The original cables from the pick-ups need to be disconnected from the motor and connected to the red and back cables on the decoder and then if you want the headcode light working use the white and blue cables.
I stuck the decoder to the corridor connection end of the seating and ran the cables above the seats. I removed the interior lights on mine.
I also added an extra pick-up to both bogies. As originally wired there is only one pickup on each bogie.
Sorry couldn't get theses to display with the correct rotation once resized

Fat finger syndrome
If you do a search for MX618N18 on google and click on the images option you'll find quite a few images which look identical to your decoder.
An example:
https://www.coastaldcc.co.uk/products/zimo/mx618
you'll also notice that if you click on the image it changes to the 2 chip version!
