Your right I'm still using my clipper, it powers everything from points and signals to 12v power tools but I got the walkabout just before I started my long 25 break from modeling so never really used it. They say the walk about was the next best thing to DCC with just a DC controler

Definitely agree with that. I had one which could make an Airfix Scot take about three minutes to travel about 10 feet without actually stopping. It packed up though, would really like to see them available again.

Those old duette's are so good a lot of exhibitions sitll use them!
