My wife asked me to do some jobs round the house. Today I told her "If i say I'm going to do I'm going to do it - I dont need reminding every six months"
You need to explain to her that it's all about planning how the job will be done, and that can take a lot of time considering the various ways of doing the job, obtaining the correct tools and materials. The planning part is what takes the time - and it can be years.
