Thanks to John posting his correct email address I've now pre-ordered a model of D1062 so WLA still have some of those left. Another worthwhile cause as some of the funds go towards the upkeep of the real D1062. Martin

Hi John No problem, I'm glad you've posted. Problem here also is that the postal system just doesn't work so downloading the form to make an order via post wasn't an option either. On the email - I actually sent email's to that address on 17th and 28th June and have just send another so I hope you can pick that up. I've drawn a total blank Sam - no answer from website contact, no answer from email sent and no telephone numbers. They certainly don't make it easy to contact them! Does anyone have any idea how to make contact with the WLA guys???

Think this was asked a while back but at 102 pages now I can't find it! I'm interested in a D1062 from the Western Locomotive Asssociation (if they have any left of course) but can't find any direct contact details for WLA. Send a couple of messages via their website but no answer. Any ideas who to contact?

On the design aspect Dave, I personally don't agree with Hornby's "design clever" approach and would rather pay more money for a more detailed (separately fixed parts) model. Haven't seen the magazine yet but I would have thought from what I've read here the model would have achieved a rating of more than 92%. Martin

Thanks Mike, I'll keep an eye on that website. I was lucky to catch 60010 in ex-works condition at Toton back in October.

Just taken a look through your pages jo, some very nice photos. Does anyone have a list/link to web page or similar which details the current state of the 60 fleet? Seems to me a fair few are now utilised quite heavily so it got me thinking how many have been overhauled, how many are now red, how many more will be overhauled etc. Martin

I went for SWD which I'm quite happy with and have 5 now running sound but will be getting them reblown by Biff as soon as he's completed a 57 project...nudge...nudge :-) Martin
