  1. at first glance, the later versions seem to have the skirting cut-away....however it looks as though they have just painted the skirts the same colour as the buffer beams.....
  2. i would say I can see the triangular panel in both photos
  3. Seems odd that Hattons are in first with these proposed models, before the likes of Tower and Howes.
  4. HEY ! that was my question....
  5. some v nice effects you have attained there. What did you use for the ETH socket bracket ? Was it a chassis swap or just the tanks ?
  6. Cheltenham Model Centre were selling them for 100 on Swanage station yesterday
  7. centre headcode 37/0 due "available around the end of the year or early in 2017" according to Tower News Page
  8. 37239 would be a suitable donor model
  9. I would say 262, the other two were not named 263 was in departmental grey, I don't think 264 ever was.
  10. Mark, if you are able to post a short video clip either here or on some other medium we can all have fun guessing ! Which Class 37 is it ? If it is a model with factory fitted sound, chances are it is the sound file Bachmann use and is SouthWest Digital. Otherwise you may find out by: 1. Asking Rails (however in my experience they have a 100% record of NOT knowing what the sound file it is and more often than not don't know what chip is inside) 2. Paperwork is in the box (e.g. Howes do this but of course someone may have swapped the box in the interim) 3. It may be written on the chip (e.g. Legomanbiffo does this) cheers Dave
  11. ETH gubbins in wrong place on the Rails picture at least...
  12. 47436 hs its 47436 has its ETH gubbins in the wrong place...Bachmann have never got this right on the 47401-585 range
  13. hi Lee. Am liking the new HJ 33s you've posted, I have yet to take a punt on the new batch. Have you sound fitted them ? I recall there is less space for speakers in the engine room compared to the original batches cheers Dave
  14. whilst I have had many positive buying experiences with Hattons, their knowledge of details is not always the best perhaps this is to be expected with a move somewhat away from a true modeller's shop to the 'boxshifter' tag that they have acquired.
  15. Maybe those who voted only bought the green version and run it on DC
  16. depending on what livery you choose, it could be renumbered at least to : 667, 669, 673, 674, 680, 681, 684, 685, 686, 688, 693, 695, 696
  17. no-one tell them that 37672 was an RSH-built machine and this one is VF-built....
  18. "if you dont ask, you dont get" my old man (still) says asking now i would say no chance if they dont sell in the quantities they hoped for, the prices will drop soon enough ?
  19. 4mm Hornby, or 7mm Heljan, Lee ??! too many paint fumes, i expect ;-)
  20. i agree, however i, like many others i am sure, have been frothing over this for some time, and having seen the pre-production samples were expecting perfection :-) it's a bit of a disappointment to say the very least.
  21. Tower Models now announcing the 7mm version :-) due 2017
  22. i see they also come with BR arrows printed on, what if you don't want 'em ?!?!
  23. this is my usual source of reference, looks like it did not carry plaques http://www.depotplaques.com/class60.htm
