Another concern is If this had happened to a vulnerable person and they got a call asking to pay £270 to complete the work and they paid it without question they would have been very much out of pocket!
Yes, when my Grandfather had to move into a nursing home we found he was still paying insurance cover on a vhs recorder that was built by Noah!

As the Chronicler of the exploits of Space Captain Isambard Smith, of the British Space Empire, I'm pretty sure that Mr Frost is part of that cover-up too, as I'm confident that once the Martians had succumbed to our Earthly diseases a punitive expedition would have been dispatched to ensure that Surrey was not inconvenienced again.
He's nicked my job!!!

I though Patrick Head was going back part time to help sort things out, but seemed only to appear at one race.

My favourite gaff was seeing a warm time drama with the land girls driving a grey T20 Fergie tractor. They didn't appear until the early 50's with a straight petrol engine.

It was entertaining , got me hooked, which is pretty difficult for a tv program these days . Yes I clocked the Collet Goods on an Edwardian train and though nah theyve not got that right . Was it the Severn Valley? You would have thought someone in the railway fraternity would point that out as I think it was specially shot and not just some footage they already had . It didnt really matter though , it is just entertainment
I think it was the South Devon Railway and I also think 3205 has been out of service for a few years. So could be stock footage.
Ripper Street wasn't immune to railway gaffs either as seen here
Clever all the same

Williams just seem to go from bad to worse. It's a crying shame as I've supported them for more years than I care to remember. I used to watch them loading the cars from the road outside the factory. That bay is now Screwfix!
They don't seem to have a presence in the pit lane anymore. I can't remember when anyone other than the drivers were interviewed. All the other team principles and pit wall crew seem to talk to the media.
If you happen to plan to be in Oxfordshire at any point it's worth checking out their museum tours. I took my Dad and two boys on a summer school holiday tour. It's a lot cheaper than a normal tour, still not cheap, but so worth it.
