  1. Ian good to meet you on Saturday must say the layout is as good in the flesh as it looks in the phots amazing amount of detail given the scale. If the plans are not the to the correct sixe let me know I can always print them at any size and post them off.
  2. Ian, Good article 5 whole page with lots of photos. I note you mention you may add interior detail to the station bridge/concourse. I have drawings and information on the current layout and can let you have copies looking forwarded to seeing the layout in the flesh at the DEMU
  3. Ian, Looking forward to seeing article in rail express and at the DEMU, Would it be useful if you had a plan of the ICC site and sorting office as a hard copy at N guage? Gary
  4. Ian, Now the site has been cleared in advance of the car park I have attached a couple of pictures showing the detail which was not very visible previously. Gary
  5. Very Solid Construction looks good from theback as well as the front
  6. Ian, Copy of extarcts from theAs Built drawings when the station was rebuilt in the 1950's Gary
  7. Ian, Bad news on the roof lights to the island platform there are two per bay so the number is double. Will be back at the station later so will get photos. Was thinking do you want me to send you info on the ICC car park as of 2011 It don't think it was used as an overflow car park at that date, will check. Gary
  8. Ian, There are a lot of thing planned for Banbury unfortunately not all of these are in the public domain so I cannot mention them here at the moment. The South Box will go in a few years as part of the Banbury re-signalling which has associated changes to the track configuration. Based on current clearances the Overhead wires will fit under the proposed new link bridge. Not sure about the existing station bridge itself, it is believed there is more likely to be a problem with the canopies but it is early days yet. Road Bridge will defintely need to be rebuilt at one end there is a listed arched structure so that wil lbe a challange. 9. Ian, I have a couple opf photos taken during a recent survey. One shows the rooflights on the LMR as being covered over, the other shows the roofligts to the island canopy you cant see these from below. I am not sure from previosu posts of you are loking to model the new Multo Storey Car Park and Pedstrian Link Bridge which wil connect the East side car park direct to the upper cooncourse of the station. If you are I can always let you have details. Are you still exhibiting at the DEMU showcase? If so I look forward to seing the layout in the flesh. I must say I cant beleive how much detail you have produced given the scale of the layout. Gary .
