  1. These are really nice. Would you be able to expand on how you generated them?
  2. I think you are right although the photo is probably from the Edwardian era to judge from the number of moustaches. I think by 50s younger men might have been bare-headed while labouring as well. A lot of them would have been wearing bits of uniform battledress and berets having served in the forces in WW2. Older blokes would have dressed much like the figures in your picture. Don't forget the gaffer in a trilby. Incidentally what is the source of your figures?
  3. Since a couple of visits to Prague I've got interested in modern European stuff as there is a lot more variety than in the UK. For modern image the Platform 5 "spotters books" are good. The "Last Steam" series on Western and Eastern Europe, Spain Portugal and West Germany are pretty good for a snapshot of the last years of steam and are available second hand.
  4. I have a Bulleid Brake coach made up from a kit. The body is made from punched aluminium. Ujnfortunately it has been scratched and I want to strip it and repaint using Railmatch spray paint. I ve never painted an alumium bodied coach before so I was wondering about what to strip it with and how to prime it to keep the paint in place. Any tips?
