  16. Had some bad news today. I was in the ASDA in Great Barr and the woman sorting all the magazines had a box of B12's on the floor. When I asked if I could have one she said they are all going back because they have cancelled there order and have been sent by mistake. I asked why and she replied its because of the amount damaged locomotives from past issues and they are spending too much time sorting them out and sending them back! Can any body help with a local supplier form me?
  17. I think this is still going because someone is selling issues 1 to 53 on E-bay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Your-Model-Railway-Village-Magazine-Issues-1-53-00-Gauge-/271739818623?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3f44f4927f

  20. Sorry for going a bit off topic here but why can't they make adverts like this any more?
  21. We have a desk top laser scanner at my work place from a company called Data M. How it works is you rotate the model in the scanner and it transposes the image onto the cad soft wear it can work to a tolerance of ±0.001. Once scanned this can be manipulated into section or parts that gets transferred onto a dxf program for manufacturing.
  22. I have purchased one today from my local Asda in Great Barr this afternoon.
  23. If any body is having difficultly obtaining a individual locomotive then contact Great British Locomotives Collection direct by phone call. A friend of mine contacted them last week and asked for a City of Truro and they are sending him one for £8.99 with FREE postage.
