Correct spelling Rob and it's closer to GWR stations too, Tivvy and Culmstock.

Blimey that is rather spooky, I hadn't realised the bridge into Venice was similar.
Maybe I'd seen it in the past without realising.

Thank you John very much appreciated, dare I say I made it blindly ( See what I did there ? ).
Perhaps one day it could see a Swiss loco running across it......nudge... nudge....wink....wink !!!

Very stylish, those embellishments make a big difference.
Thank you Mikkel, I pondered over this for some time and felt they would 'elevate' its looks slightly.
My original thoughts of a smaller bridge didn't sit well in my eyes hence this being made and hopefully will fit in with my overall vision.

there wasn't very much at Great Rollright

From what little information I have it was used for quite a few goods dispatches and arrivals from/to the rural community.
The next Goods Advice slip I have found in my collection is also for Gt. Rollright. From the building company's point it was used for dropping off building materials used during local contracts.
This one is dated 1909.

Slightly off topic John,
Whilst searching for other stuff this afternoon I came across some of my 'railway ephemera' and found several interesting labels etc of which this was one....
OK it's NOT Stoke Courtney but made me think of your thread.
It is one of many which I saved from the furnace at an old Victorian building contractors founded in 1840 which I ran back in the '80s.
I asked if the owner of the Co. if he minded me having them so lots of labels and other interesting railway related items were saved by me both for posterity and railway interest.
Here's one on my favourites...

Didn't know Dapol were doing a 45xx in 0 gauge. Will look forward to seeing that - could be very tempting!

I must apologise on behalf of my friend John, he knows not what he is doing, one day all railway layouts will be GWR based

Hey you G man!
Welcome aboard! Excellent work on the boat. Do tell more about it.
Ey Up George,
You don't want my stuff clogging up your thread mate, suffice to say it has been shown elsewhere on previous occasions. However, the inspiration came after a trip to Cotehele House where I saw the book ( which it's resting on ) with a history and also a plan insert......so off I went !
It is made from 1mm ply cut / steamed and bent to fit the frames, which were also made on a jig much the same as you're doing.
She is still at that stage as I never finished her due to moving house....one day maybe ?

YEY !
And he's off again, brilliant George and very much liking the boat build.
I condone the use of Alf Hattick glue it really does give a strong bond once cured.
I used it on this shell whilst building / planking and gives a really tight seal too.
You have another subscriber.
All the best mate.

NOT the Bridge of Sighs.....maybe a few Oooohs ! and Aaaaahs !
I've briefly dropped back on the Italian thingy whilst my head was in that zone last night.
Thinking of a Ponte to carry the railway above and came up with a design of my own.
Using my trusty Silhouette cutter and some good quality picture framing card I cut out the basic design together with a few embellishments around the circular brick inlays.
Here is the start with some generic Italian brick overlay made from a panel I downloaded and played around with, printed onto an A4 sticky backed label.
The arch inlays will get a painted finish eventually.....
And with some embellishments to the round insets....
More to be done when I get more inspiration !

Lovely as ever John, a 45xx always looks good.
(FWIW today I learnt that the Dapol O Gauge version is now in production so fingers crossed it may reach our shores by Easter this year !?! )
