  1. Yep, going to cut the windows out when I've marked everything out! Didn't know it was Lab 6 some one made it as Test Coach 6, now I know
  2. Now have attached the observation duckets to the completed body sides, now to add lamps, brackets and window frames to the cut outs. One side didn't quite stretch over so I'll be using solder to fill the gap.
  3. With the long overdue arrival of flux , I've managed to do some more to the kit! First the observation duckets, then the body side windows. Still got one side to go!. So here's todays progress
  4. As mentioned in my last post the pantograph will be a former Class 390 Pantograph. This looks very similar, I've now fitted it, and now plotting the holes for fuses.
  5. I would also be interested, hopefully someone put it on the Market
  6. I've already done the main modifications but forgot to post on here, but I've cut down the space to hold the Pantograph for the Serco Test Coach 6 "Prometheus" which was scrapped around 2004/5 I think! Here's what it started like and now looks like! It'll be tired with a 390 pantograph and fuses, with Fox transfers.
  7. After several hours of looking though pictures of the N class, I've finally soldered on the front footplate section, ready for a new coat of pant and vac. pipe fitting.; which is the next job.
  8. For Christmas I revived this Wills Kit from my Uncle... It is from a man (Who has passed on..) that modelled the 3mm "S" scale, but also the 4mm SR scene. (I have also been given some of his other SR stock) This being one of the kits he never finished... With the parts available this will be a challenge, as the only usable parts are the body, front footplate, smoke deflectors, tender body, Tender handbrake , and vac.pipe.. So this will kick start my latest project... Enjoy
  9. Now windows are in place, now need to paint and fit the ventalation grills onto the toilet and genarator sections.
  10. Sides now cut from frame, now to add the window frames...
  11. fantastic - I've been wondering how to do this as I also live on the ECML, and see plenty of the RHTT runs
  12. The whole frame of parts, with some very small details such as; hinges, lavatory extraction fan! First step is too cut the sides and windows and put them together.
  13. Now have removed the buffers between the units. And filled and drilled new holes for buffing plate
  14. Now posting all related posts into 2NOL conversion blog
  15. As you guys have probably gathered; I don't stay on one project for a long time (except kits). So for some thing I can come back to, I've decided to modify Triang 3SUB S1052S to 2NOL 1826.
  16. Hahah No idea why pics have flipped over - stupid I=pod

  18. Cheers for that Carl, I'll put in an order when I decide on some other things that I wanted from them
  19. Brought a pair of Triang utility vans yesterday. And noticed the plastic wheels are very poor when traversing points, so will be replacing them with new metal wheels, also the glazing had browned with age so that will be replaced with acetate. Current progress:
  20. Plans are underway for the signalling, It'll be Colour Light and all fully functioning. Points will be wire in a tube for the parts in the station areas. Josh
  21. I want to make DB999508 Does anybody have plans or know where to buy etchings and parts?
  22. I've converted this from the Dapol Tanker, and changed it by adding the extended flanks (styrene) Wheels for the tanker (from an Airfix kit) and separating the tanker from the chassis, more pics to come
  23. Although my layout is set in the 1950s I want to have a collection of Network Rail Stock for my Modernisation Plan - Not BR style Does anybody know where to get plans for Current rolling stock (Tampers, cranes etc) in 00?
